Warne favourite out for the season

George Bailey had helped the Hobart Hurricanes back into the game with the old dog showing he still has some great tricks.

43 from 30 balls was an outstanding performance when Daniel Sams had Bailey caught behind going for a big swing.

But Brendan Julian said "I think he's hit the ground there" immediately as the ball went through.

"I don't reckon Bailey's too happy with that," Julian said.

"It's a big wicket too because George Bailey hit the ball beautifully and he was going to be very dangerous for the last few overs – he's not happy," Mark Waugh added.

While it was pretty close to the bat as it went through, social media thought it was a harsh call.

Bailey said it was a bit of a funny wicket and had no idea how the wicket was actually playing.

Clive Rose's 5-ball 14 helped the Hurricanes to 6/162 off the 20 overs.
